How to send mobile notification to customers?

Sending mobile notifications is a quick and effective way to communicate important updates—such as holidays, events, offers, or reminders—with your gym members. Follow the steps below to send a notification from the Apptofit Admin Dashboard.

Prerequisites

Before sending a notification, ensure the following:

  • The customer has installed the Apptofit Customer App.

  • The customer has logged in using the same mobile number registered at the gym.

  • Notifications are enabled on the customer’s device.

  • Only customers with these conditions met will receive the notification.

Step 1: Open the Notification Page

From the dashboard, click “Send Mobile Notification”, or use the provided notification link after logging in.

Step 2: Create a New Notification (top right).

Step 3: Enter Notification Details

Title: Ex. Holiday Reminder

Description: Ex. Please note that, due to upcoming Diwali on 18th Oct 2025, the gym will remain closed and non-operative.

Step 4: Send

Do not close the browser tab until the process completes.

Important

  • Only members who have the app installed and logged in will receive the message.

  • Always double-check the date and message before sending.

  • Keep your notification title short and clear.

  • Avoid navigating away from the page until the sending process completes.

  • Only last 7 days notifications are stored, and anything before will automatically deleted.
